West Wing Aviation is privately owned by Peter Collings, whose career in the aviation industry spans over 20 years. Peter has owned airline operations servicing the Queensland Outback since 1992 and understands the unique challenges of the western environment.

West Wing Aviation originated from Peter’s former company, which he grew to become Queensland’s biggest regional airline carrier. In 2000, Peter split the company and formed West Wing Aviation to cater for smaller commute services.

Now with a team of 70 staff, including 50 pilots, the company has experienced exciting growth over the past nine years. Our staff have decades of experience in operations and our pilots are local people who have experience flying in our harsh climate.
